Today, I read a post on a fellow photographer’s blog (Heather Cole Photography) that made me so, so happy. You can (and should!) read it here.

The way she talked about her husband and how in love she still was with him after 14 years just made me feel like love was still alive in the world. In a nation where the majority of marriages end in divorce (and even those that don’t don’t seem all that happy), a young woman like me can be easily discouraged from love but this post totally renewed my faith. Though I’m currently in the phase of life where I’m ‘oohing’ and ‘ahhing’ over an adorable ticket taker guy at the movies, I sure am looking forward to finding what Heather and her husband have…
