Last weekend, I met up with John and Heather at Tri-City Park in Placentia to take a few photos for their Save The Date cards…

They brought along these cute letters to hold…then we realized that we wouldn’t be able to see them over their clothes! So John had the brilliant idea to prop them up with sticks. It worked so perfectly!

Love her Save The Date idea! So cute and cheery.

A few weeks ago, I met up with Matthew and Anna at Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles for their engagement session. They were so easy to photograph, constantly joking and laughing with each other. Such fun!

After meeting this couple almost a year ago, and getting to know them through their engagement session, and now their wedding, I am so, so excited to blog the photos of their awesome wedding.

Sarah and TJ were married on January 8th at Meridian Club in Fullerton, and I had so much fun working with them and getting to be a part of their day!

Groomsmen are THE.BEST. Nothing is more fun than a crotch shot.

Loved their cake! My 2nd shooter and I were going nuts for it. So gorgeous!

Megan and Jonathan are expecting their first little girl in just one week (does Megan not look incredible? I never, ever would’ve guessed that she was 39 weeks along!), so we got in just under the wire to get some beautiful photos of this special time. Here are a few of my faves from our time together…

This one is easily my favorite…it just strikes me as a photo that their daughter will look back at and love.

Patty and Nate’s engagement session was way awesome. They wanted their photos to really represent them, and what better way to do that than to explore the city they live in? We started off at some cool shops on Melrose in West Hollywood…

Next, we hopped in the car and drove until we found this awesome red wall. love it!

And next we headed over to the LACMA…

Favorite! Love this one for some reason…just feels so natural to me.

Patty really wanted a photo with this ‘uncommon beauty of common things’ mural, and I love how it turned out…

And lastly, just as the sun was dipping down, we took a few shots in the light installation at the LACMA.

claire & greg – part two

As promised, here’s part two of Claire and Greg’s fabulous engagement session…

The first one on the left here is one of my very favorites. I utilized the sun in a way that I don’t normally, and I love the result. And Greg, we managed to get an awesome shadow shot that isn’t cheesy!

They climbed under this tree because as Greg said, ‘Hipsters love fruit trees’. Love it!

Ah, so loved working with these two, and I love their images even more!

This engagement session was so awesome that it absolutely requires two blog posts. Claire & Greg couldn’t have been more adorable together, and we had such fun exploring and finding the good light. It was such a great session!
