This past weekend, Daniel and I loaded up the MINI and drove up to Santa Barbara for Sarah and Michael’s engagement session. We got there early and settled in with a fun dinner at olio pizzeria, and then I headed out to the pier to meet Sarah and Michael. LOVED this couple! Sweet, fun, and so happy and natural together. Perfect!

This blog has been sorely neglected over the past few months, but it has definitely not been because of a lack of activity! Isn’t it funny how when you’re the busiest (and therefore don’t have much time to blog), the internet probably thinks that you have nothing going on. That’s what I always think when other bloggers disappear for awhile.

In the past six months, I’ve photographed several beautiful weddings, shot a bunch of awesome portrait sessions, spent a ton of time with my family, and most wonderfully, I’ve fallen madly in love with an awesome man. It’s been an incredibly great few months!

It is time to get back to blogging regularly, so here’s a quick sneak peek from my last wedding…best couple ever!

Last weekend, I met up with John and Heather at Tri-City Park in Placentia to take a few photos for their Save The Date cards…

They brought along these cute letters to hold…then we realized that we wouldn’t be able to see them over their clothes! So John had the brilliant idea to prop them up with sticks. It worked so perfectly!

Love her Save The Date idea! So cute and cheery.

A few weeks ago, I met up with Matthew and Anna at Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles for their engagement session. They were so easy to photograph, constantly joking and laughing with each other. Such fun!

After meeting this couple almost a year ago, and getting to know them through their engagement session, and now their wedding, I am so, so excited to blog the photos of their awesome wedding.

Sarah and TJ were married on January 8th at Meridian Club in Fullerton, and I had so much fun working with them and getting to be a part of their day!

Groomsmen are THE.BEST. Nothing is more fun than a crotch shot.

Loved their cake! My 2nd shooter and I were going nuts for it. So gorgeous!
